Three men, raised in the mountains of Western Maryland, spending their days on the banks of the streams, rivers and lakes. No matter the season, they could be found on the water. Whether they were filling their nets with their bounty from Western Maryland or traveling to the Great Lakes for salmon or steelhead, one thing is for sure their passion for fishing was undeniable!

As their passion grew, so did their desire to make a high quality fishing product, and thus DeadWaters was born. baits made with care, precision, inspected and tested. A business built on God, family, country and the desire to serve others. A business built on THE values THAT THESE MEN BELIEVE IN AND EMBODY: a veteran, FEDERAL law enforcement officers, first responders, fathers, and leaders. WHY THE NAME DEADWATERS? FOR YEARS, MINING RUN OFF WOULD CAUSE THE WATERWAYS TO RUN COPPER, FISH STRUGGLING. THESE WATERS WERE KNOWN AS DEADWATERS. THUS, DEADWATERS IS A TRIBUTE TO THE AREA THEY GREW UP IN, LEARNED TO FISH IN, AND NOW SPEND THEIR DAYS PERFECTING THEIR CRAFT.
